Living in Chicago has undoubtedly proved that we have most unpredictable weather than any other city in the Midwest. It was in the 50s last week and this morning it snowed! Surprisingly, our winter hasn't been that bad (so far) and I'm feeling really antsy for Spring to come! Holidays are my favorite because of all of the themed clothing and decorations, and the entire season of Spring reminds me of Easter.
This year Easter will be a little more special because I've started going back to church and connecting with my Creator more. Sometimes you just feel like there's one thing missing in your life, and He was that one thing missing for me. If you're one of my readers and aren't religious or believe in a higher power, don't feel like you won't be able to still come to my blog. While I may start writing a bit more about my journey finding faith, I'll have all of these posts in a separate section for those of you who are interested in learning more about all that good stuff.
But back to Spring. Chambray, pastels, seersucker, and gingham are all Spring themes for fashion items. I love bright colors as well, but save the neon colors for the hotter days in the Summer. I always feel like a little kid during this time because I get to bust out the rain boots, umbrellas, and look at pretty little dresses to wear on Easter day. I hope I can travel home to see my little cousins go Easter egg hunting and open up their gift baskets!
