In my last post I talked about my fall favorites, and one of those items was the Clarisonic Mia 2! I know a lot of people have problems with maintaining clear skin, especially when the weather is changing. My skin care routine is usually pretty quick and easy since I was lucky enough to be blessed with fairly clear skin minus the occasional breakout or two, and dry patches during the colder seasons. However, I like to make sure I keep my skin healthy and clear since I do have sensitive skin. Because of this, it's always been a struggle to find skin care products that work for my dry skin.
Everyone knows about Clarisonic, and I finally got the chance to try it out myself! I've been using it for about three weeks now and I don't know if it's a coincidence that I haven't had a single blemish within that time frame, or if this little device really works! I have to add that I have cut back on sugar because a huge cause of breakouts is what you eat. Maybe it's the sugar reduction AND the Mia 2 ;)
I'll be honest when I say I was skeptical about their deep pore cleanser because of my sensitive skin, but I love it! I love the consistency which isn't too thick or too runny, and it doesn't have a strong smell which is one of my biggest pet peeves. Of course, you can use whatever cleanser you'd like on the Mia 2, but I suggest getting the whole package - (they have different holiday gift sets and it would make a perfect gift set for anyone, guy or gal - USE DISCOUNT CODE HERCAMPUS FOR 15% THROUGH NOVEMBER 20TH!) The Mia 2 is exceptionally gentle on the skin compared to the Mia 1, but is still powerful which is great for anyone who has used lots of skin care products and doesn't want to damage their skin anymore, and anyone with sensitive skin like me!
It also comes with a clay mask that should be used once a week, but I'm not a huge fan of masks, so I haven't tried it out yet. I'll update if I do test it out!
