If you’re a blogger, you definitely know how hard it is (financially) to keep up with the latest trends. Even if you’re not a blogger, it’s difficult for your pockets to feel like you’re staying in the fashion world. There’s ALWAYS something new coming out that everyone wants (I know you’ve seen a billion people wearing the Rebecca Minkoff tassel purse) and a majority of the time, they item is NOT cheap. However, there’s always fun things that arrive and become a new trend like the pom pom key chains that can be very affordable. I’ve seen them in beauty stores, Target, Forever 21, Wet Seal, etc, and there’s almost no point to splurge on one because it’s literally an accessory for your purse or an addition to your set of car and house keys.
Everyone knows that there’s a few items that will always be popular, like the Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag and Hunter rainboots. Not everyone can spend over $1000 on a bag or see the point in paying over $100 for rainboots (I’ll be the first to tell you that Hunter boots ARE worth the splurge though) and need options for dupes. Dupe is short for duplicate, and is essentially a “knock off” but without being considered fake – it’s just a really, really similar looking item.
I’ll be the first to admit that I can’t afford to keep up with all the trends by purchasing the item that I REALLY want. Yes, I’ve been wanting a LV purse for years but I still can’t justify spending over $300 on any bag. Heck, I don’t even spend that much on my suitcases! But I promise you that you CAN find really, really good deals on dupes that last for a long time as well.
